ECCO is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization under the name “East County Community Orchestra.”  Our federal tax ID number is 93-1173975.  All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.  We look forward to seeing you at our next concert!

A PayPal link is located in the upper right of each of our pages for your use in online donations.  You can use your PayPal account, or a debit/credit card without setting up a PayPal account.  Either way, you can choose to make one time or ongoing donations.

ORCHESTRA PHILOSOPHY

The group’s goals, taken from its Bylaws:

Goal #1 – The East County Community Orchestra was founded to give adult professional and amateur musicians an opportunity to continue playing in an ensemble setting. ECCO also invites talented younger musicians to join, giving them an opportunity to gain performance experience with seasoned professionals;

Goal #2 – This goal is to bring spirited orchestral performances of classical and contemporary music to Greater Portland area audiences.  ECCO offers three to five concerts for the performance season.  Three are formal concerts offered to the public.  Invitations for ECCO performances will be considered on an individual basis.  ECCO will advertise these events primarily through digital media.
