With the easing of government restructions due to ongoing COVID-19 issues, East County Community Orchestra’s rehearsals resumed in time for a Spring 2022 concert. The Orchestra Board meets regularly to discuss the current affairs of COVID-19 restrictions.
We track the status of the pandemic via the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) news releases, and encourage everyone to follow prudent good health practices. Our priority is the continued health of our members and audiences. We are considering all options available to inform our members and audiences in time to act and reduce confusion. We encourage you to stay informed individually, and a good link for the OHA is https://www.oregon.gov/oha/pages/index.aspx. OHA continues to recommend all people in Oregon take everyday precautions to prevent the spread of many respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19 and other influenzas.
We will honor any of our members’ decisions to refrain from rehearsals or performances, as your health comes first in our minds. Even though rehearsals have resumed, if our venue providers close their facilities, for rehearsals or performances, we will honor those closures. We will notify everyone via our web, and media channels as soon as that decision is announced.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
