The East County Community Orchestra is a 60+ member adult orchestra made up of musicians who enjoy playing and performing classic orchestral literature. Participants range from college students to adult amateurs and retired professionals. They represent many fields of endeavor, including business, education, finance, medicine and nonprofit. All the musicians, including the directors, are volunteers.
The band rehearses weekly from fall through spring, and performs formal concerts at the Horner Performing Arts Center at David Douglas High School (map), area churches, and local communities.
